the recipes that make it onto this blog have been tested, created and/or adjusted by me, so they taste yummy, are reasonably easy to make and guarantee a good outcome. Since I don't like to limit myself in any way, these recipes reflect just that – they vary from super fast and easy to a little time-consuming and complicated – from European to Asian to Arabic and back.
This has been my favourite cake ever since my mom discovered the recipe when I was about 14 (and I have had my fair share of delicious cakes). It’s very chocolatey, yet the blueberries balance it out perfectly. Because of its deliciously gooey consistency it’s more of a tarte than a cake, but it is fairly easy to make. I can only recommend trying it at least once! You will not be disappointed.
If you are allergic to gluten, this recipe is very easily adjustable to that since it uses next to no flour, so the consistency and taste will not be affected.
This is an easy, super quick yet very yummy dessert. It takes about ten minutes to make (even though you should let it sit in the fridge for a bit), and because it’s so lemony, it’s very refreshing and perfect for summer!
I got this yummy recipe ages ago from my Mom. It’s an all-time classic, and very versatile. You can bring a whole bowl of it to a party, be it a children’s birthday party or something more sophisticated.
