Easy Lemon Dessert

This is an easy, super quick yet very yummy dessert. It takes about ten minutes to make (even though you should let it sit in the fridge for a bit), and because it’s so lemony, it’s very refreshing and perfect for summer!

Here’s what you need

(this will be enough for 2-4 portions, depending on the size of your dessert glasses/bowls)

– 200g cream
– cream stiffener
– 150g greek yoghurt
– one organic lemon
– 4-5 tablespoons of sugar (again, real tablespoons, not American ones)
– 1-2 tablespoons of Grand Manier (alternatively you can use Amaretto (also very yummy), Rum or Cognac)
– if you want mint, lemon slices or lemon balm for decoration

Here’s what you do

– put your dessert glasses in the freezer (this will prevent the stiff cream to turn liquid at the edges as it comes in contact with the warm glass)

– beat cream and cream stiffener until stiff

– add the greek yoghurt and beat lightly until smooth

– add grated lemon peel of the lemon, sugar, juice of the lemon and the Grand Manier

– beat lightly until smooth and put into cold dessert glasses carefully so you don’t smudge (maybe use a table spoon)

– let it sit in the fridge for a few hours (it’s not the apocalypse if you can only let it sit for an hour though)

– add decoration and serve immediately
