Chocolate Blueberry Tarte

This has been my favourite cake ever since my mom discovered the recipe when I was about 14 (and I have had my fair share of delicious cakes). It’s very chocolatey, yet the blueberries balance it out perfectly. Because of its deliciously gooey consistency it’s more of a tarte than a cake, but it is fairly easy to make. I can only recommend trying it at least once! You will not be disappointed.

If you are allergic to gluten, this recipe is very easily adjustable to that since it uses next to no flour, so the consistency and taste will not be affected.

Pesto Rosso

Pesto Rosso has always been one of my favourites, and this recipe is very easy, very quick and extremely delicious. If you put it in a sterilized glass it will last you two weeks in the fridge, making it perfect for prepping ahead – be it for other people in your household or for yourself to enjoy a homemade yet super quick meal after a stressful day. It’s also a perfect little gift or can be used as an exquisite dip to enjoy with a nice piece of ciabatta as an amuse-gueule.

Mousse au Chocolat

I got this amazing recipe ages ago from my Mom. It’s an all-time classic, and very versatile. You can bring a whole bowl of it to a party, be it a children’s birthday party or something more sophisticated. You do need some amount of foresight though, because the mousse must be prepared the day before. This particular recipe doesn’t use cream or additional sugar as many others do, but egg yolk, which makes it a little less loaded with calories and also more chocolatey.
